FLOWERS & BOUQUETS There is similarity to the medieval style of bouquet, in that meaning of flowers had a significance and the wearing a wreath of flowers - which is a very ancient headpiece. A combination of white roses, wine roses, thistle and heather has been used. Though traditionally wild flowers and herbs would have been used. The language of flowers and herbs has been around since the Celts and have not changed. Mint signifies great virtue. Sage - great respect. Ferns express deep sincerity and Ivy symbolises marriage and fidelity. |
