A Roman invitation ideally should be in suitable text style and using Roman numerals were applicable. It should be in the form of a scroll to be at its most authentic, but if this is not feasable due to postage costs then just printed or even done by a calligrapher onto a scroll background on suitable paper. Another idea is to have Roman style motifs or friezes around the outer edges of the invitations. Possibly even images of Romans to give an idea to guests of the style of clothing you would like worn. For more see the clothing section.
